PriWatt laminated glass and smart IGUs drop into your existing frames and systems, giving your customers a privacy and glare option without a separate supplier.

Smart IGUs combine the switchable laminated panel with the insulated unit for exterior glazing.

What we supply

  • Laminated switchable panels in 3/8 in, 1/2 in and 9/16 in, with others on request.
  • Maximum panel size 70 in by 144 in, and 70 in by 126 in at 1/2 in thickness.
  • Original PDLC for maximum privacy, Reverse PNLC for lower haze and clear-when-unpowered behaviour.
  • Over 98% UV blocking, and 100% when the glass is off.
  • Sound reduction of approximately STC 40 from the laminated interlayer.
  • Switching in under 45 milliseconds, at under 0.5 W per sq ft while powered.

Panels are custom manufactured to your thickness and build-up, within the published size and thickness range.

Do you make insulated units?

Yes. Smart IGUs are part of our product line for exterior glazing.

Which technology for exterior windows?

Original PDLC is the option for residential and exterior maximum-privacy applications. Reverse PNLC stays clear when unpowered and has lower haze, which suits offices.

How much power does it use?

Under 0.5 W per sq ft, and only while the glass is being powered.

What about UV and sound?

Over 98% UV blocking, 100% when off, with sound reduction of approximately STC 40 from the laminated interlayer.

What is the lead time?

Typical production is 2-4 weeks, with delivery in 5-10 days depending on size and scope.
